The Mine Rangers Agency is a specialized security and intelligence organization established to protect Nigeria's mineral resources from illegal mining activities. We operate as a dedicated force committed to ensuring compliance with mining regulations and safeguarding the nation's natural wealth.

The Mine Rangers initiative emerged from the Nigerian Unity and Peace Corps (NUPEC), a national organization committed to promoting peace, unity, and security across Nigeria. Building on NUPEC's foundation of community engagement and national service, Mine Rangers was established to address the critical need for specialized security in Nigeria's mining sector.

We work in close collaboration with federal and state governments, mining companies, local communities, and other security agencies to ensure comprehensive protection of Nigeria's mineral resources.

The Nigerian Senate has officially passed the Nigeria Mine Rangers Bill, providing a strong legislative foundation for the organization's operations. This landmark achievement validates the critical role of the Mine Rangers in protecting Nigeria's mineral resources and enables the agency to operate with full legal backing and government support.
