Dr. Chinedu Nneji provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the Mine Rangers Agency, ensuring effective execution of our mandate across all operational areas. Under his leadership, the agency has established itself as a critical force in protecting Nigeria's mineral resources and maintaining security in the mining sector.

The Mine Rangers Agency is led by a team of experienced professionals with backgrounds in security, intelligence, mining, and environmental protection. Our leadership structure ensures effective coordination and execution of our mandate.
Our operations are organized into specialized command units, each responsible for specific aspects of our mandate:
- •Intelligence Command: Gathers and analyzes information on mining activities
- •Operations Command: Conducts field operations and enforcement activities
- •Community Engagement Command: Works with local communities and stakeholders
- •Environmental Protection Command: Monitors and protects the environment
- •Legal Support Command: Provides legal assistance and support for prosecutions
Deputy Commandants oversee specific operational areas, including intelligence, field operations, community engagement, and legal support. They work directly under the Commandant General to ensure effective execution of agency operations.
Senior Officers lead field operations and coordinate with state-level command units. They ensure that agency directives are effectively implemented across all operational areas and maintain close relationships with local communities.
